A customer recently had low water pressure as a result of being on a small water rail originally designed for two houses. Due to a local development they were now part of six properties and this was also causing a problem with his boiler

His water company made a new connection to the water main and we took a new service for his property across a small private road, foot way to where the water supply entered his house and could be connected on giving him his own supply. The method we used to lay was impact moiling and we managed to do by having 4 pits open and moiling each length at a time.

The customer now has good water pressure and has also done away with his old lead service pipe which has been replaced with new plastic service pipe.
